Hi, I’m Eilidh Branson
Back Story:
I was born September 1st, 1994 (a true 90’s baby!) in St.Thomas, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and grew up as a silly, slightly awkward church girl in the country. In 2005 I moved to Atlanta, when my family relocated to be with my grandmother who was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the tender age of 11, I got my first taste of heartbreak when she passed in 2006. Atlanta wasn’t finished with me though, and I ended up attending and graduating from the illustrious Spelman College ’16! It was there that I learned how to truly love other people by becoming a public servant. The decision to settle in Atlanta was one I will never be able to thank my mother for enough. In this city, I have met some of my best friends, fallen in love, grown into a woman, and I am blessed to call it my second home. At Spelman I realized my passion for educating and helping people! Now I am a working professional, an educator in all aspects of the term, an advocate, and a person who is willing to help anyone that needs it.
There are 2 things my family always said about me. 1) I talk too much. 2) My head was always in the clouds and stars in my eyes.
Literally nothing has changed.
I am still the starry-eyed girl with too much to say and this blog & podcast is where my voice will finally be heard! I have fallen in love with myself and hope to help people find love in themselves and others.
